Max Predicts the 2005 Oscars
Well again it's time for the Oscar's and Max sends
in his predictions.
The past year has, in my opinion, not been
one of the best for the movies. I also find it hard to believe from articles
that I've read that not one of the best pictures nominated has not grossed
over 100 million. To me that's a first since this shows that none of them
interested people enough to go see the movie. The movies that did well at the
box office and made a lot of money are only nominated for cinematography,
costume design, makeup, original score, original song, sound editing, sound
mixing and visual effects.
To me the best pictures last year were
Spiderman 2, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban,
Fahrenheit 9/11 and The Passion of the Christ. All of them made
over 150 million dollars and were liked by a lot of people. Well to get
back to my predictions as offered by the Academy are as follows:
Best actor-Jamie Foxx who gave an
outstanding job in the movie Ray.
Best actress-Hilary Swank another good
movie Million Dollar Baby.
Best supporting actor-Thomas Haden Church
for the movie Sideways.

Aviator
